Otero is a Puerto Rican born and raised artist based in the USA. His works draw influence from his tropical upbringing, ontological curiosity and fictional media. He communicates thought and idea in the form of illustrative depictions & storytelling.
GRAPHIC NOVELS & COMICS
Otero works on original stories to communicate a vision about humanity and its potential, with a passion for fiction media ignited from a young age. Founding his own label Traitor Co. he published the first one shot and the first chapter of the Oculi story, Superwar. After this he has worked on various projects, among them the science fiction mecha story Mæch.
ALBUM COVERS & DESIGN
With a technical background in graphic design, Otero works on broader visual media, having made covers for various clients including the jazz fusion jam session EP Doble Seis, as well as creating promotional material for institutions like the Athena Cinema in Athens, Ohio.
PAINTING & ILLUSTRATION
Otero has a passion for bringing visions to life, often utilizing the dreams and visuals as direct inspiration for compositions.
